School of Theatre Panel DiscussionWe're offering two events in association with GOOD KIDS (both are free of charge):

Tues April 24 (7pm, Black Box, free of charge) - "No One Deserves to Be Harmed: Building Communities of Support to Fight Sexual Assault" is a panel discussion featuring a panel of experts and community stakeholders who are deeply familiar with cultures of power-based personal violence in educational settings. Confirmed panelists: Gabriel Valenzuela (OUSD, Title IX Coordinator); Alicia Lewis (SF Art Institute, Diversity & Inclusion Officer), Kio Pak (Highland Hospital/Sexual Assault Response Team), Jon Jay (President, UC Berkeley Interfraternity Council). This will be a moderated discussion with Q&A at the end.

School of Theatre Levenson Event

Wed April 25 (7pm, Black Box, free of charge) - "No One Deserves to Be Harmed: How Parents & Guardians Can Support Students" is a presentation and Q&A featuring Rebecca Levenson, health consultant to Futures Without Violence and parent leader of BHS Stop Harassing at Berkeley High School. This will be a candid discussion aimed at parents who have questions about how they can help their children negotiate cultures of violence and harassment, including discussions of the role of social media.
