Health Insurance


Kaiser Medical: Employees may choose from two Kaiser HMO plans:
  • Kaiser Gold HMO base plan: Employee-only coverage costs 1% of the total plan cost per pay period.
  • Kaiser Plat HMO buy-up plan: Employee-only cost is 1% of the Gold plan plus the difference in cost from the Gold to Platinum plan.

Principal Dental: Employee-only coverage costs $1.00 to $1.20 per month.

VSP Vision: Employee-only coverage is provided at no out-of-pocket cost.

Other Benefits


Employee Assistance Program (EAP): A range of free resources is available to support our staff, including mental health services, financial counseling, child care assistance, wellness initiatives, and exclusive discounts.

Retirement Plan: OSA offers both the CalSTRS pension for eligible employees and a 403(b) plan for all employees,  with employer matching of up to 8% for non-certificated employees.

Commuter Benefits: OSA offers a robust commuter benefits program, allowing tax-deferred contributions up to $315 per month for transit and commuting expenses.
