The Media Arts Spring Film Showcase opened on the big screen at the New Parkway Theater on Monday, May 20th. Selections from Oakland School for the Arts Media Arts Pathway student filmmaking projects, as well as department-wide documentary projects, were screened, with student animations and trailers throughout.

The Spring Showcase compiled many different genres and approaches to storytelling and moving images.

What amazing work. They laughed, they cried!

What a wonderful year to end a very creative and productive school year.
